On Wednesday, March 11, 2020, the Central Criminal Investigation Office summoned journalist and writer Nawfal Daou to listen to his testimony on Monday, March 16, due to a complaint filed against him by Minister of Health Hamad Hassan against the backdrop of two tweets, one of which attacked Minister Hassan for considering stopping flights from Iran To Lebanon, a political decision, and the second tweet was about Iranian medicines and how they entered Lebanon without the approval of European laboratories
On Wednesday, September 23, 2020, the Central Criminal Investigation Office investigated the journalist and writer Nawfal Daou, the investigation was only very routine and ordinary questions and answers. After listening to him, the cassation public attorney, Judge Ghassan El-Khoury, advised to leave him with the residency document and to seal the investigation, provided that he take the necessary legal action.
